This is just rumors so far but - a person claiming to be a Baker & Taylor employee says they are shutting down and all operations will cease on January 1st, 2026. Private equity strikes again, friends :(

Just an FYI - it's Bandcamp Friday again! All purchases go 100% to the artists on Bandcamp Fridays - Bandcamp doesn't collect any fees. I always try to pick up a CD or two when it comes around (I think it's 4 times a year?) If you want some suggestions for cool music, you can see my purchases here :)

My husband and I will bring each other ARCs that we think the other would like (libraries get sent boxes and boxes of them every month and staff swap them around). He recently grabbed me a few horror titles and I was looking at them this morning to put them in my reading queue and noticed one of them looked weird. Is this cover AI? It's published by a subdivision of Macmillan Books and I really hope the Big Five publishers aren't about to start down that route. :(
